What's the best thing about RE/DONE jeans?
Vintage denim never fits me especially because I’m only 5”2, Re/Done has cuts that makes wearing vintage jeans possible for me, even though I’m super short.
What is your present state of mind?
Stressed. Fashion Month is one of the most stressful times for me. I try to have fun with it, but traveling is always stressful especially when there’s so much pressure on what “everyone is wearing”.
What is next for you?
Don’t know, don’t care, as long as I’m happy. Predicting the future gives me anxiety.
What makes a quality woman?
I think being secure with yourself and being able to teach the people around you something new makes a quality person. I like hanging out with women who I learn something new from, that can carry on a conversation about something interesting.
What is your most marked characteristic?
Physical- it used to be my white hair, but change is good. I love change when it comes to fashion and beauty, and I embrace it fully. We change the way we dress, so we should change our appearance from time to time as well. Personality- I’m a free spirit, I’m open to anything and everything.
What's your vice?
Sweets. I eat sweets every single day. Sometimes a chocolate bar a day. I don’t care, because I work out a lot. I hate boundaries.
What is your favorite place in LA?
My backyard. I have a massive (well at least it’s massive in my eyes) back patio and yard situation, that I don’t like to leave every often. I spend most of my nights in LA, back there with friends and a few bottles of rose. There’s usually BBQing involved as well.
What's your favorite way to wear denim?
Actually have two favorite ways currently. The first is with a tight body suit and a pair of chunky boots. Second, is with a basic tee and a cool blazer or bomber with a pair of oxfords or pumps.
What's your RE/DONE moment? (this is open to interpretation-- either a moment that you'd like to redo, an instance when you wish you could have a different version of something, a piece that you used to own that you wish you could make new again…)
Not sure if this makes sense here, but I want to start collecting vintage pins and go all out on a leather or denim jacket. I think it would be super cool and unique to have a piece like this in my wardrobe.
