The next chapter of our day in Venice took us to the home of Sofie Howard. Howard, the founder of Commune Images, also happens to be the sister of RE/DONE co-founder, Sean Barron. Her home, in the walk streets of Venice, radiates the bohemian charm of a beach bungalow. It is a restored craftsman done with a unique twist. The home exudes a warmth that makes you feel pleasantly cozy, even in the middle of an LA summer.
Sofie’s home provided the backdrop for our shoot with Katelyn in the High Rise Crop. Our High Rise Crop is the perfect summer jean with its ankle bearing hem and straight leg. It is fitted enough to feel sleek, but not too tight as to be uncomfortable in the warm temperatures. The loose calf and exposed ankle keep things breezy.
With its diverse landscapes, Venice never ceases to provide us with inspiration and excitement. It seems each corner is filled with its own unique aesthetic, but all cohesively tied together by an appreciation creativity and ingenuity. Los Angele’s most eclectic beach is nothing if not an individual.
