Our shoot with Frida Aasen was the first RE/DONE shoot to take place outside of Los Angeles. Shot in a studio in downtown New York City, our blonde Norwegian, with the perfect doll face, was transformed into a classic 70’s bombshell. While she is still a few months shy of having a legal post-shoot celebratory drink, Frida is already quite accomplished in her own right. Not only was she named one of Vogue’s faces to watch along side the likes of Martha Hunt, but she is also a champion horseback rider. She has previously walked in shows such as Prada, Louis Vuitton, and Fendi and was featured in the inaugural issue of CR Fashion Book.
Frida is featured here wearing our High Rise fit, styled to evoke the rock and roll feel of the 1970’s with a modern edge. Our stylist, Emily Mazur, is an up and coming talent based in New York. Emily trained under some of the most influential stylists working in fashion today and has assisted on shoots with photographers such as Mario Testino, Steven Meisel, Patrick Demarchelier and David Sims.
Based in New York, Alexandra Nataf is known for her clean, simple, and modern portraiture. In 2015, Nataf launched Unconditional Magazine, of which she serves as the creative director.
