Our Hawaiian collection features our classic short that has been re/paired with re/purposed vintage Hawaiian shirts from the 1950’s - 1990’s. Each print tells its own story and is completely individual. We wanted those values and the authenticity of the collection to be reflected in our choice of model. When our photographer, David Mushegain, heard about the collection, he immediately thought of his dear friend Tori.

What makes Tori Praver the ultimate beach girl? Is it her swimwear line? Her childhood in Hawaii? Her pro-surfer husband? Her own surfing chops? Or is it possibly, all of the above?

 David on Tori:

“I met Tori through my dear friend, and Tori’s husband, Danny Fuller. I remember the day Danny met Tori. He actually asked me to have lunch with her to see what I thought of her. I thought then, and still think now, that Tori is amazing. We have been friends since that day. Tori grew up in Maui and she is the real deal beach girl. Her husband Danny is a professional surfer and Tori is quite an amazing surfer too. I have photographed Tori for many years. I always love her energy and her kind spirit. I can't think of a better person to design swimwear than Tori as she knows first hand what it is to live in your swimsuit day after day. Her fits are always perfect and I think her suits look amazing on every girl. I was so glad to be able to bring together two of my favorite brands.”

We spoke to Tori to learn more about the brains behind the bombshell.

New York or LA and why?

LA- I grew up in Hawaii and live for the ocean so being in California is so comforting because it reminds me of home in so many ways. I love the beach lifestyle but the fact that there is a city with art and culture is the icing on the cake.

What's your vice?
Red wine and Chocolate.
What is next for you?
I am producing my first fashion show next month in Miami during Swim Week. This will be a huge milestone for me as a designer and I am so excited about it.

Tori’s bathing suit designs are featured in the Hawaiian collection campaign along with our RE/DONE shorts.
