“Nothing plain!” is the mission statement of Brian Cohen’s iconic Los Angeles destination Vintage On Hollywood. Brian established his passion for vintage as a high-schooler in the late 80s, developing a unique aesthetic through exposure to the DIY-heavy industrial scene. In the early 90s, he began selling clothing out of his apartment—and the rest is history.
Each jacket in this edit exemplifies Brian’s playful attitude, attention to unique details, and vast historical knowledge. This piece was made in the 1970s by Wrangler, known for using different dye and weaving techniques for their denim than Levi’s did. With hand-studded customizations throughout, this jacket was truly created as a labor of love.
