This jean was made in the 1950s or 60s from selvedge denim, which means it is authentically woven on old looms that produce less waste. As production shifted from these looms to bigger, more efficient ones, selvedge denim has become increasingly rare and collectable.
Most vintage Levi’s were originally men’s styles and sizes, resulting in slightly narrower hips than traditional women’s jeans. Please double check each pair’s individual measurement to ensure you find the right fit.
