    • 1960s Sterling Enameled Purple St Christopher
    • Total length: 25"
    • Pendant size: 1.25" diameter

St Christopher necklaces have been worn as a symbol of protection by members of the catholic faith for many years. The pendants were also worn as talismans to protect travelers on their journeys. They were popularized within fashion in the 1960s, notably by surfers who wore them in the water or gifted them to their sweethearts. These vintage pendants are made with high quality glass enamel, a detail no longer easy to find, as new ones are made with regular enamel or resin.
